What Women Want

There is a popular notion that women are avaricious and their incessant craving can only be gratified by opulence. Because I am a skeptic analyst by nature, I embarked on a very illumine quest in order to authenticate the relevance of the latter statement. My inquisitive mindset pulled the reigns and it led me to a moored crypt. This crypt was the tomb of the great queen of the gift baskets, simplicity! The background music was an inconspicuous aria; I could not contain all the eerie crawls that were creeping swiftly up my spine.

Legend has it that this beautiful feminine queen desires the most exotic and rarest gifts. All gifts that pass through her kingdom must receive her blessing. People would wrap the presents in luxurious cloth and present them in picnic baskets. Gifts in boxes have gone out of fashion to be replaced by gift baskets of all shape and form. I did not presume to have finally discovered what women want but gift baskets are a good start. Now I’ll have to figure out what the people put in these baskets given to their queen.

Repose Most women favor the attractive proposal that comes with being pampered. It would be like committing an insidious crime to deny a woman the therapeutic relaxation offered at spas. Thoughts of being aromatic, exotic oils being coddled on their yearning skins taunt many women. In addition to indulgence, if mummy is happy then there is more solitude within the household. Surprise her by sending her to a cosseting little heaven for a few hours or the entire day and you will have made her day! You will be surprised how a change of scenery can have such festive effects. Besides that feeling good encourages us to want to express that emotion on the outside and besides wearing a gratified smile she might even buy an outfit. Better still to appease her spirit, one can couple the present with a clothing gift voucher from her favorite store. This idea, as I have found, can be applied on all holidays or special days. The results are the same; a hysterical woman joyfully screaming on the telephone to her best friend.

If you want to avoid splurging at the hottest spas, why not set up a home spa experience by giving mum a facial, setting up scented candles and preparing a warm bubble bath. Use bathing salts, a glass of iced champagne to fully immerse her in the sensual experience. Or you could bundle up the toiletry in a gift basket and let her pick the time to enjoy the home spa experience. Make your own coloring salts by blending colored dye with scented oil and course salt grains to get the professional-looking bath salts. Tie up the salts and candles with silky ribbon, and add a gift tag with a warm message from the heart.

Real relaxation is the height of pleasure and abundance. Both fulfill deep lusts. The gift must be matched to the desire for such pleasures. Thus the ideal gift evokes an immediate anticipation of its enjoyment, a rush to use it as quickly as possible. I continue my quest to find the true desired gift of every woman, in the scorching jungle.
